you who hear things

Hi asearcher. Glad you have someone at home to share your footsteps with. It's always nice to be able to share these things with others. After all, that's one of the reasons we're here on SF isn't it? To share our experiences and, hopefully, gain a little perspective on them?

Like some of the others, I only clearly hear things occasionally. And, for me, the most common time for that is either going to sleep or waking up. The last time it was someone calling my name. Never did find out what that was about. Probably just time for me to get up.

Something else rather odd has started happening in the last year or two as well. I'll wake up and start singing. There's no tie-in from my dreams - and the song isn't playing in my head - it seems to come from nowhere. Fact is I'm terrible at singing, and rarely do it, but suddenly there I am, sitting up in bed, singing. Weird. Typically, after I get some coffee, I'll look them up on YouTube to see what song it is. So far that hasn't shed any light on things, but it's nice to hear the original version again.
