[Moody Blues (most people have no idea how spiritual these guys were)]

I do. I even started a thread on here about them because of that fact. There were other bands or artists who have strong spiritual overtones though such as:

Todd Rundgren
Kansas
Yes
Jon Anderson (the former lead singer of Yes who is one of the most spiritual singers I can think of. It's reflected in his solo stuff a lot more than it is with Yes)
The Flower Kings

Spirituality is something that comes up every so often in progressive rock although usually it's more philosophical than overtly spiritual.
