I'm Still In Kansas, Toto

Good afternoon from another new member. I'm a Crone who has been following this path to the God and Goddess for 20+ years. I was traditionally trained, but have always had a few eclectic notions. I've worked with two different groups but am currently solitary and looking to start or join a new group.

I'm a grandmother of two girls. My daughter and I are both divorced so we live together and I'm helping to raise the kids. One is a teen who has ADHD and one is in grade school and has been diagnosed with Autism. They are both like me but I don't have a proper diagnosis at this time. That's my full-time job, I also work part time as a cleaning lady.

I've also been a short order cook, a clerk in a hobby store and in an Pagan shop, a seamstress, a renaissance festival street character, a face painter, and a gamer (AD&D). With my ex-hubby we ran a marathon AD&D game for 13 spring break weekends. I'm also a weather witch but let me tell you, there's no stopping an EF5 twister, but I've unwound a few over the years, mitigating the damage.

My, I'm chatty today, which is rather unusual for me. Don't get used to it.

Thank you Silvergirl, and you too epicspinner.

It's been awhile since I was part of a multi-faith forum, seems strange to see people offering to pray and adding "god bless." Is it offensive for me to say "Thank you and may goddess bless"?

Welcome to the forums! I am pretty new, myself, but the people around here seem to get along fairly well, even with differences between faiths/beliefs/ideas/whatever-they-call-its.

I can't speak for everyone, but I personally would not be offended by a "goddess bless." I think the intention is pretty much the same.

I think I can best describe myself as an eclectic Christian.

I can't say I understand the specifics of what a weather-witch is (do you work through ritual or can you do without?), but I can say it is nice to see someone else with a knack for the weather. ;)

Feel free to PM me if you'd care to chat (even if you say you aren't chatty, lol).

I don't find it offensive at all and it is by no means as offensive as mormons, 7th day adventists banging on your door trying to sell you their religion
However...i remain peaceful and calm when they do

Bright Blessings and welcome
