Drowned in a past life
Just wanted to share this with you, I think i drowned in a past life, ive dreamed many times about a huge boat sinking and filling with water, it looks almost like a tidal wave of water coming into the sinking boat , im not sure what year it is or even what century i can see that its metal, i dreamed these things even when i was a child (he he before i had heard of the titanic....) I also have dreamed of cars going under the water but very old ones and one of them was purple interior with burgundy velvet somewhere in it,I have a great fear of wharfs, jettys and any water that is deep, except swimming pools i love the pool & am a strong swimmer. I have what i call "flashbacks" sometimes out of nowhere i will think of being overcome with water & i feel scared, although i know im quite safe! Thanks for reading

How interesting & I agree it sounds like you drowned in a past life. I've read about phobias that people have and the source is from a past life and hypnotherapy into the past life source has removed the phobia in the present life. It sounds liked you don't have a terrible phobia since you can go into swimming pools, but if you want get rid of any remaining fears of deep water, you might want to look into past life regression.

I have heard that just by acknowledging the fact , for example - that you drowned in a past life - this somehow heals things.
I never really quite understood how just acknowledging the fact does this ? I was told in a past life regression that in one of my past lives, I drowned. I was also told a few details about it... however, just knowing that information, doesn't mean that I want to jump in the lake, ocean or pool and swim underwater . So just knowing this info, in my case .. makes no difference to me. I still have no desire to swim or be underwater.

I was killed once by a spear in the back, fortunately though not too many people carry spears these days so I don't run into the issue of working to avoid it too much.
I would think though that recognizing that a current life aversion to deep water is connected to experiences in past lives could help to alleviate any fears. Just because you experienced something before doesn't mean that you have to be afraid that you will do so again.
Wishing you an absence of fear if that is your preference.

Are you able to change your outcome when dreaming?
I've had drowning dreams, but I was stuck in a submarine. I've also been electrocuted, set on fire and beheaded. I was able to change the drowning and set on fire ones so they weren't as bad and haven't had them anymore.
Maybe this will help :)
