Yes it should be fought against, but how does one recognize evil that must be fought against?

Concerning the greater reality and truth that is existent...
Speaking of the Spirit, and the eternal... involving The Almighty...
"There is oh monks an unborn, unoriginated, uncreated, unformed.
Were there not oh monks... there would be no escape from the world of the born, originated, created, formed.
Since there is an unborn, unoriginated, uncreated, unformed, therefore there is an escape from the born, originated, created and formed."
"What is dependent also moves, (changes); What is independent does not move." (Change)
"Where there is no movement, there is rest; Where rest is there is no desire; Where there is no desire there is neither coming or going, no ceasing to be, no coming to be.
There is neither this shore", (this world), "nor the other shore, (Nibbana 31), nor anything in between them."
32 Udana 8:3
Minor Anthologies, pg. 98.

In the Book of Malachi in the Bible, we also read, regarding what is stable, and what changes...
"I am the Lord. I change not."

Nice scripture.
I wonder how many people realize that the word for LORD used in that scripture is transliterated as Yahweh?

If people worship a book, then they may already be in trouble.
If they find a God through experience they may ascend quicker.
If a person picks apart something to no end they may be left with pieces.

If you are referring to a few verses beyond, which talk about tithing, I could see how some people
could come to that conclusion. But in this case, the Law was completed when Jesus died which also included tithing.

Interesting points.
But.... who worships a book?
Some people learn thru experience and some claim that method is know as the school of hard knocks.
If a person accepts everything without questioning, they may be lead astray.

Tithing .
I wonder sometimes if Noah was a Master Carpenter, good with a hammer and nails, God seem to have changed his mind regarding his character.
