"ॐ namo bhagavate vAsudevAya" is the favorite mantra of one of my gurus. She gave it to those who sought her help without initiation. It means 'salutations to the blessed son of vasudeva'. vasudeva is the name of shrI kRSNa's father. I love this mantra and use it often.
