But there is no working definition of I AM. I don't have one, I just go along with what everyone else calls it.

Why go along with what everyone else calls it? Why not question what they are saying. They could all be wrong. Do some deep thinking about it yourself, learn to trust your own intuition and it will finally reveal what you need to know.
In my opinion we should never ever just go along with what others say.
Just my thoughts tho.

Sorry mate didn’t wish to offend you but when you stated….” I just go along with what everyone calls it”, I was concerned.
No I wasn’t trying to bait you Honza. That is definitely not what I am about. I was trying to give you an alternative way of looking at things instead of just going along with what you are told. Thought I was being helpful actually.
Hope this clear things up.

It is probably easier to say what the I AM is not….eventually this gets down that one has neither past or future….and that is describing eternity where time does not exist….therefore God can declare I AM THAT I AM….
It is not hopeless for us….the Beatitude: “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled”. Righteousness being in alignment with God. Hunger and thirst describe a polarity….the world we live in. In simple terms hunger feeds the fire….thirst quenches the fire. When we are filled we no longer hunger or thirst. We have escaped polarity…this earth and have entered eternity. Obviously the important thing is seeking alignment with God.
