Chipped Pendulum

So, just a quick question. I recently picked up my pendulum and noticed that the very tip has chipped off. This is a little confusing considering I do all my pendulum work on my bed and my bedroom floor is carpeted. I don't recall ever hitting it off of anything. Will this affect my readings?

It menas you should clean it out more often. And try giving it a healing as well. Objects can speak to, and if you just keep overusing it without a limit, the thing will snap and break in half (like an old car breaking down.)

When I first bought my pendulum I was using it everyday, although your not suppose to I was asking the same question over and over again, because I doubted the answer I was receiving. Then one day as I was asking a question I dropped the pendulum and the chain broke (my pendulum was one with 7 tiny stones attached to the chain) I was luckily able to fix the chain without the smaller crystals attached which I actually liked better. After that happened I realized I was using my pendulum way to much. As with everything, things need time to rest and recharged, that is why it is important to clean and recharge your pendulum often. I have noticed that when my pendulum needs to be cleaned, the swing will be slow and shallow, when I ask a question where as after I have cleansed and recharge it, the swing will be fast and wide.

Once when I had a pendulum chip/break I gave it back to the Earth, burying it next to tree.

More often than not I place my current pendulum next to a piece of selenite to clear and cleanse it between uses.
