sleep paralysis or something want me to astral project?
Hey all
Last night while i was sleeping this happened: Not sure if it's a dream or sleep paralysis. I was being tickled under my sole of my foot by a being i could not see and i tried to scream help but nothing came out and took a while then a i barely got help out, all this was in my bed and i woke up. I felt conscious but i could of been a dream not sure.
Not the first time this has happened i woke op twice in one night gasping for air after i could not wake up.
The first time this happened was when i woke up when i thought that i was being attacked by i being, white mist like being but thinking about it now the being was trying to wake me up but i was paralyzed and then i woke up in fear.
One night, I also laid awake(thought i was sleeping) for a long time with my eyes open only to realize a hour or two after that i was awake!!!
I am not trying to Astral project or travel so don't know were this is coming from.
Any advice what to do? Should i try to be more conscious of trying to wake up and how?
Thanks

Well firstly, you don't have to be intentionally trying to astrol project for it to happen, personally it's only happened to me by accident, for when I do try I don't usually succeed.
As far your feet tickling experience, it is quite possibly a being ****ing with you. I group that right with any other sensation when trying to follow asleep, like an itch. When you're trying to fall asleep I think we're more aware of our bodies sensations. Try to ignore them (don't itch the itch) , they will go away and that's when you will enter a deep sleep. So they say.

If you were gasping for air, it could be sleep apnea.
I've had entities interact with me in various ways during sleep paralysis. Touching me, talking to me, etc. They would even pull me right out of my body by my feet.
Totally normal. Except most people would think you're nuts.

I would say s.p. and you were in a state of altered conscious. Might of been a ghost on astral critter.

This sounds like sleep paralysis to me...You can experience this during the transition between wake and going to sleep (hypnagogic) or during the transition between sleep and waking up (hypnopompic)...Often it's very common to experience hallucinations during these "in between" states and a feeling of fear/panic is also quite common during such experiences...So if you are awake, but you are paralyzed you are not experiencing a dream but a hallucination...
I've only experienced this once, during the phase between sleep and waking up...When I woke up I saw a shadow man that looked very ghost like hovering over my side of the bed, staring at me...It really freaked me out because I thought someone had broken into the house...then I could realize I could see right through the man and when I looked into where his eyes should be I didn't feel anything evil at all from him and I began to calm down...The facial expressions looked as if he was curious about me....Then he slowly began to disappear and I was able to move again...It was extremely wild/bizarre when that happened to me....

...according to what science says...Sometimes I wonder when people see "hallucinations" if they are actually seeing things beyond what our "normal" vision can see...In other words, I often wonder if our physical bodies need to be in a certain physical state before we can "see" the unseen, which may not be hallucinations at all...
