My Kundalini Experience

Yes, It just happened tonight and after a very long time.

I was just about to doze off to sleep, when I was hit by a very strong sexual urge...I became mega horny all of a sudden and out of nowhere.

I thought it pretty strange, but rather than just give in to the urge - it didn't feel like I wanted/needed to in any way - I went into deep meditation to try and find out the cause.

I became aware of a tingling, warm vibration in the area of my perineum, spreading upwards into my navel region, affecting everything in between in a pretty huge way.

I knew what I was feeling and immediately said a prayer to Divine Mother and opened my heart and soul to Her. Jai Kali Ma!!

Next thing I knew, it felt like a bolt of lightning had shot up my spine and into my brain, leaving electrical 'shock waves' or 'eddies' throughout my whole astral body.

My back felt like it was on fire and I'm seeing all these weird colours, like a kaleidoscope, only they are blending together and dispersing like a bad Salvador Dali painting or like chalk drawings on a sidewalk when it rains.

My head feels like it's buzzing, but not in any unpleasant way...I feel so calm, so peaceful and totally relaxed, like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders...when I look at things, everything seems to be like 'glowing' from the inside out. Even the inanimate seems to be somehow animated.

I just feel so relaxed and happy...not totally 'blissed out', the only word I could use to describe this feeling is satisfaction total and complete satisfaction...and there's also a huge degree of awe, amazement and total curiosity, like I am a small child discovering something very new and special.

I feel all 'light headed' and 'floaty', but in a nice way. It's like I am dreaming, but I'm fully awake and like nothing is 'real' even though, through this experience, what is 'real' is only relative. It's just a really nice space for me to be in right now, raising kundalini into my Brow Chakra and thanks for reading.

Aum Namah Shivaya

Wow it seems to me that your prayer worked very effectively, kundalini raising through prayer!

I forcefully raise a heat from my base to my head by doing mahabandha, don't know whether that heat is kundalini / chi / prana or something else.

Woo congratulations! :)

I felt like that too at first--upon awakening, I tried to meditate to get to the Akashic records, but failed and haven't been able to since.

Still though, I received many more moments of blissfulness afterwards. Enjoy the feelings!

Shinsoo "Expect nothing and accept everything, and you will never be disappointed." -Buddha " This quote is not from the Buddha it's Laurence Overmire.

The clue is that Buddha would never say to accept what you can change, he said to accept what you can't control but never accept what is changeable

Yes, that certainly sounds like an authentic kundalini experience. Sometimes, as in my own case, there are blockages that have to be burned through. In my case, I had two "heart attack" experiences while, or shortly after, meditating. In both cases, it was a severe pain in my chest, incapacitating me for short while. Thinking I might be having a heart attack, I went to the emergency room of the local hospital, both times. In both cases, they ran a battery of tests and declared that I didn't have a heart attack and they didn't know what it was.

After these experiences, I started to experience a lot bliss emanating from the center of my chest, both in and out of meditation. That lasted about a year. I have no doubt that the pain I previously experienced in my chest was the opening of my heart chakra.

Ooh, ok, Laurence Overmire it is. Thank you. :)

I'll find a more appropriate Buddhist one later on.

Downside...now I don't feel like talking/communicating much and trying to think hurts...I hope this phase passes soon.
