Most recently I got a Calcite concretion - as opposed to Staurolite - fairy stone. We have a natural deposit up here not too far from where I live, and a coworker brought it in. I also got a couple of little clear quartz points from others who gather them from the area.

Hello All!

I am a recent user of crystals. If someone would be kind enough to shed light on one of the crystals I started using that has caused some bad dreams for three nights with Lapis Lazuli. Two were quite terrifying, and I am sure would be terrifying for anyone else either.

So far I have been impressed and blown away by the effect of Blue Chalcedony and love African Turquoise (a Jasper) as a grounding stone. I will be getting a bunch of Black Tourmaline soon for protection purposes, a primary focus for me as I engage in my spiritual development.

My question is why does the Lapis Lazuli do this? I have tried cleansing the crystals with sea salt water (which I won't do anymore with Lapis Lazuli since it can damage them) for two days, left it in the sun and moon for two days and nights, smudged them in sandalwood incense and now have them in brown rice for a day. It is my belief so far that these stones are cursed with energy, and when I first picked them up felt a sense of a "financial" vibe to them. Financial energy is not evil in of itself, but is commonly used for subjugation purposes in the world of ours. Apart from the three nights of bad dreams, I felt better when taking the stones off my body, and felt a pleasant stomach sensation/growl when I placed them in the brown rice which has a powerful cleansing effect. Blue Chalcedony and African Turquoise has been nothing but good for me empirically, and I had high hopes for Lapis Lazuli but and a bit disconcerted.

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I love working with aquamarine and I don't know why (my birth-stone is peridot).

I use an aquamarine crystal for dowsing as well.

I don't think it matters if the crystal is a birthstone etc, you like what you like!

My more recent acquisitions are geothite, chlorite quartz, golden healer quartz, apophylite, a big amethyst point, super 5, sphalerite, several quartz pieces / points, a big chunk/bed of citrine, a big raw moss agate and various tumbles in mostly larger sizes - Jaspers, agates, a more blue-sheen labradorite and a shiva lingham.

I have actually never purchased a stone, or crystal, in my life. The three above are all gifts from relatives or very close family friends (as in more like family) - in order: uncle, a life long friend that I've known since we were both young teens, and 2nd cousin.

But seriously my necklace - I found the black obsidian, the Moldavite was my grandmother's gift, the snowflake obsidian came from [a purchase] my aunt. My black onyx bracelet came from a very important person to me.


Thinking about it, as these are all the stones I possess actually, some of their properties certainly explaining why I am such a mellow takes-everything-in-stride sort of person without the aid of medicine thank you [I don't take medicine, rarely will I accept the need for antibiotics even] that friends & colleagues have joked the sky could be falling and I'd just keep on trucking.
