As long as it isn't "words" assaulting your/the mind. This orwellian brave new world is full of them. ;-)

Varanasi, as you pointed out, is indeed the City of Lord Shiva. When I was there, one hears Shiva chants from sunrise to sunset. It is absolutely awesome and inspiring.

We are on the 'same' 'page' in the above regard, SW. I also very much enjoy your way of sharing-n-explaining things.
Running into one such as you (just knowing that 'you' are 'out there', really) is, in many ways, the full-fillment of one of my most heart-felt 'wish-dreams'!

Thank you very much for the kind words. I am usually very quiet but this thread somehow inspired me to share more than usual.

My turn:
I enjoy your Kumbh Mela stories...that time we worked on my Rudra Granthi...that time we discussed Gaudapada's Karika of the Mandukya Upanishad...

I'm glad that you enjoy my stories. I find stories to be very helpful when discussing points of interest. As I posted elsewhere, I am generally very quiet but this thread has inspired me to share more.
Since you mentioned the Mandukya Upanishad, I will add that it is one of my favorites. In Eknath Easwaran's translation of the Upanishads, he refers to the Mandukya Upanishad in the following manner: "Shankaracharya declared that if one could only study a single Upanishad, it should be this one; similarly in a late Upanishad, the Muktika (Deliverance), Rama appears and tells a devotee that the Mandukya alone is sufficient for the deliverance of the aspirant". The implications of reading (and practicing) this Upanishad are awesome, as you probably know. (Incidentally, for those who are not familar with this Upanishad, it is also the shortest of the Upanishads. )

Namaste.
I really like that first picture with the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra...The picture reminds me of the Muladhara Chakra... however, Shiv-ji's face is still too chubby with rosy red cheeks and why I have a problem with that, I honestly don't know. LOL
Maybe I like the idea of Lord Shiva in His cosmic manifestation better...and you have already touched on it with one of your previous pictures...but when Lord Shiva looks like Mahakaal, it makes me feel totally awestruck.

At the moment, I am studying the Spanda Karikas and the Tibetan Book of the Great Liberation... I'm not spending much time on SF at all.... nothing much to talk about at the moment, it seems.

Shiva is supposed to be an "androgynous" figure (twin)...
So "balancing the scales" could mean "changing roles^^" edit maybe especially regarding narcissism, cause female narcissism cannot be as harmful as the penetrating^^ male one. ;-)
IMO female "beauty" nowadays is more subjected to some "status" paradigm and male narcissism instead of an authentic sense of the own beauty..
It would also be more in the human^^ nature to let the physically weaker one have the power^^ monopoly, although in my perception it already has. So it's then just to get rid of certain superfluous stupidity (ego/waste of energy/useless pain) = SALVATION ;-), besides that looks anyway like [ mad ;-)] Kali(Maa) again.
I'd say you're CLEARLY in love with Satan (and the established world as it is/seems)... LOOOL
