Perhaps it's the by-product of duality, the need to create as strong as the need to destroy. Is there a riddle or is it simply the way things are? Or is it our perspective in that we don't really understand the 'bigger picture'? Destruction may well be as valuable an exercise as creation in that bigger picture, both being manifestation in forms of its own.

Or perhaps it is a result of our emotionally fueled and protected beliefs, which have and continue, to inspire a kind of murderous and suicidal certainty.
