I think that you're asking about banishing a pentagram; and it would depend on whether you're trying to banish the Earth, Air, Fire or Water pentagram, as each one is invoked and banished from a different point.
What is it you're trying to do - are you trying to banish a circle?

There aren't just two! There's an invoking pentacle and a banishing pentacle for earth, air, fire, and water. I forget if there's any overlap (like maybe an invoking fire pentacle is also the banishing pentacle for another element), but there probably isn't.
Eventually I just threw my hands up and visualized a whole pentacle like a "stamp" with banishing intent, and then made up my own symbols and did away with the pentacle entirely.

For banishing the Earth pentagram you start at the bottom left point and go to the top point, down to bottom right, up to left point and so on. For banishing the Air pentagram you start at the left, go across to the right then down to the bottom left, up to the top, down to right bottom, up to left and across to the right again. For the Fire pentagram you start at the top, come down to the bottom right, up to the left and across to the right, down to bottom left, up to the top and down to bottom right again. For banishing the Water pentagram you start at the right point and go left across your body to the left point, then down to the bottom right, up to the top, down to bottom left, up to right point and again go across your body to left point.
Don't forget though, for invoking it would be the opposite.
The last stroke, whether invoking or banishing, is a repeat of the first stroke.

I have a slightly different approach. I have the 5th position [Spirit] as central. So it becomes
Invocation :
Earth = North [starting position]
Air = East
Fire = South
Water = West
Spirit [ I label this Mother Earth ] = West
I don't use Banishing - I use the reverse as Closing.

I see that here it is recognized of 4 different types of banishing pentacles. So how come, in what is said to be the best book in wicca by Silver Raven Wolf "The ultimate book of shadows..." on page 396 there are is only 1 banishing pentacle, like one I have outlined above? Is this book not the best?

Because in every Religion there are always some--who believe their way is the only way.

Silver Raven Wolf is not the best author of Wicca. She made a great impact on paganism and witchcraft for young people, so that it can be said to be a modern tradition all its own, but I personally prefer Starhawk as an author, and Christopher Penczak is my favorite.
The four different banishing pentacles are Western Ceremonial tradition (Hermeticism, The Order of the Golden Dawn, perhaps also Thelema), not Wicca. Wicca is influenced by Western Ceremonial tradition, but it can be its own thing.

You should never forget that wicca is a CREATION of Gardner, it did not evolve naturally over time. The pentacle itself is a much older concept and did NOT imply a 5-pointed figure necessarily. The word appeared in English in the 16th century but came from an earlier French word which meant talisman which could be 5 or 6 pointed, or even a square. If you look in old grimoire, you will find many different pentacles.
Personally, I would avoid any author with a "made-up" name.
