We use to take juice and bread in my church growing up - I always remembered it to be an emotional time.: and at others I felt ashamed because I heart wasn’t really with it- but I was young…
I started a relationship but I didn’t believe he died here on this earth.. I didn’t believe history was as it said it was- I thought life only began when I woke up… I understand now there was is a history- so I’m far more accepting of his death… although the murder they committed is just the same as the murder they commit with others of our nation… just he was the begotten son of God.
There’s a staff member at the hostel who is a committed Christian. And he speaks of the second death where we will all burn in hell..
I was never taught that: I was taught Jesus death would redeem us???

I think as he was the son of God the drink his is blood the bread is body is probably metaphor for his strength and courage and wisdom and remembering he died so we could have our sins forgiven… so we could be saved…
It’s probably channeling some proverbial metaphor in the instance of taking it - and breaking the bread and praying- I would say if you speak to water kind and freeze it it changes as with negative- I would expect the same to occur with bread and juice!!!

Probably not. Different chemistry.
This reminds of the movie "Idiocracy" where they watered their crops with Gatorade, wondering why the crops died. (this seems so actual!)

In that movie, people didn't accept any common sense explanation for why to use water on crops, but accepted that Joe could talk to the plants and that the plants asked for water instead of Gatorade. (which might have some involuntary truth in it ...)
