Doesn't matter, there were no drones and vaccines back then.
There were slaves. Slavery was common practice and the bible does not reject it. It is from a modern (liberal / Enlightenment) perspective where we view the ownership of other humans (and women much later) as morally wrong. But back in ancient times it was an everyday reality. If it was so much in conflict with Jesus' teachings then I think it would have been a big topic in the bible. This can't be overlooked, considering the prevalence of slavery back then.
