Someone stroking my head/hair

Hi all

Something great happened last night, I have a medium friend but lives far away from me and a while back he sent his guide over to me to help with my spiritual development. I knew when his guide arrived as laying in bed I felt someone touch my head slightly like they we're stroking my hair with lots of tingling.

I have been waiting to meet my guide and apparently to what I have said to my friend today my guide arrived to meet me last night :-)
Last night in bed before I even fell asleep I felt someone stroking my hair from the top to my ears. It felt like a mother stroking the head/hair of their sick child on their lap. I felt at ease and almost happy until I drifted off to sleep. My friend said my guide has arrived and I need to keep asking to be shown who he is.

I feel so excited and ready for the next stage in my development :-)

Thats so sweet! Im so happy for you! I know when my angel or guides come around they do the same thing. Its sooo soothing and relaxing it at times causes me to eather Lucid dream or even AP xD Im telling you, a guides or angel's tuch can do miricals with your stress!

I have felt a variety of energies. When I am meditating sometimes I will get those feelings on the top of my head. Someone playing with my hair or running a finger thru it. So interesting isn't it?

I have a question, do guides ask permission first before stroking your hair, etc.?

Congratulations, Polly! This was one of my first experiences with my guides too - I felt someone gently stroking my forehead as I drifted off to sleep. It was very sweet and parental. I often feel them hug me, too.

Seawolf, they don't need to ask permission because they know us well enough to know whether or not we'd welcome the gesture. They would never behave in a way which would make you uncomfortable, so if you find the idea a little weird, chances are your guide wouldn't express themselves affectionately that way.

Guides do all have different personalities, so some are more cuddly and affectionate than others, but they are very aware of our boundaries and won't start poking and stroking us if we don't want them to!

And what do you know? That was also one of my first experiences with my guide. I don't recall if I was having a particularly bad day, but man, I would give anything to feel that again. Haven't felt it since.

Thanks for answering Westleigh. I wouldn't find it uncomfortable, I would just be surprised if a being that is supposed to be good would do something like that without asking permission first. It seems presumptuous, but that's just my opinion.

No, didn't ask just did it to let me know he was there.
