When you are out of your body in the astral are people you bump into in astral too?

I would have to say yes, but too there are times when I travel out to work with Spirits those that are on a different plane from the physical Earth. I have to feel that its all open but there is almost an energy wall that keeps things for now separate. We hear alot about the veil getting thinner and more and more we are sensing other dimentions or shifts.

Now is that more that we are moving to accept things more or a real physical event. We simply do not understand enough of it yet I feel to truly know what is dream and what is real. Or if any of it is real. I know I travel out freely and I stay very much present here as well so is there something that takes me out I wonder, that of another person or spirit energy that I do not feel or see ?

In the astral there are people, spirits who were once Human or who are going to be Humans again. There are entities, elementals, etc. There are countless forms of intelligent life in the astral. A lot of them being Humanoid, a lot of them being unrecognizable, a lot of them being undetectable.

What i meant was people that are still alive here, can they be awake and in the astral

Yup it can happen. I often end my astral projections when I am deep in the planes and no where near my body. When I go back to sleep right away I will get teleported back to my astral body and be exactly where I left off. Unless you are in the proper state of mind your subtle body will not reintegrate into your physical and it will be trapped outside of your body until you go back to sleep. You cannot consciously be in both the physical and the astral at the same time though, it's one or the other. When your subtle body is trapped inside of the planes and your consciousness tranfers back into your physical body your subtle body feints just as your physical body would if you instantly went into your astral body while walking around in the physical.

Astral Explorer...in your opinion could something like that happen when you go out of body, are conscious, and then suddenly everything goes. You wake up later with absolutely no memory of what happened beyond a certain point?

The reason I ask is this morning I decided to try another AP. My legs went out, then arms, and I could see just fine, then sat up and got up out of bed, fully aware and conscious, and heading for the door, mindful of the idea of setting out to fly as soon as I got a little distance from my physical body. Then everything just went....zilch,....nothing at all. I woke up (after having slept) 2 hours later with absolutely no memory beyond the point at which I left my room, but definitely a vague sense of having been somewhere possibly ?? But no memory at all. Not even a dream memory which is unusual.

I actually think that it is quite common but in most cases people neither remember leaving. I have experiences that first fully dawns on me days after they have transpired slowly blossoming into vivid memories.

Also it is possible to meet other astral travelers (those who are physically alive but out of their bodies at the time) in the Astral. These can be completely conscious.

I read you can see dead people, people who are alive but they are dreaming and alive people that are conscious. They are aware that they are out of their bodies, like us, astral projectors. I believe that is correct.

I have also heard of these possibility. To go into other peoples dreams and interact with them, fully expecting them not to remember anything when they wake up, not so sure about meeting people in the astral though, though i do know what you mean when you ask it. I am confident it is a possibility but never having experience of it i can't tell you for certain.
