First x that happened (after that 5 day fasting, with focused intention), a friend pretty much dropped her mouth saying,
Oh my, you have changed. Hahahaha. I was actually looking at what she
herself was not aware of inside her...just an astounding exp.

Yes.

I, through 'me' was 'seeing' I everywhere. For weeks. Eye of the eye. Mind of the mind. Consciousness of the consciousness.

The Unmanifest experiencing Itself through the manifest.

Existence, Consciousness, Bliss wearing a big and silly ecstatic

I wish these openings of the veil lifting, so to speak, for everyone.

Beautiful! Your affirmation & validation of direct transcendence will inspire us to rekindle our burning yearning to connect likewise in prayerful surrender

A friend of mine has experienced or rather frequently experiences direct God vision ... wonder what the divine trigger is ... must be right here, within

You said that very well!! Weeks? Wow --I was close to that for months,
but not exactly as good as yours...hahahaha.

My friends of years asked me privately --WTH, you're not the same you... (meaning the dippy, airhead, goof ball, flake).

This is so inspiring for me to talk about this.
We must always stay focused, imo.

Big Hi to BigJohn and Un- Seeker

And then there's Vivekanada. I'd say his experience was the BIG WOW. LOL!

My impression is it's a continuum of realization: small wow, Medium Wow, BIG WOW and all points between, all profound and life-altering spiritual experiences.

Again, you said that so well!As a matter of fact, I have thought more than a couple xs - nothing could be more than 'this'.
Ha, 'Now I can just die right here'.
And then a few months later more, until the last one that I do believe nothing could surpass...hahahahaha, I laugh.
Going to the link now. :)

There's the spiritual practice (knowledge, meditation, devotion, service) and then there's the fruit of the spiritual practice (realization).

Think of it this way. One waters a tree in an orchard not for the purpose of watering a tree but for the eventual fruit it will bear.

You are correct.
I don't talk a lot about knowledge, devotion, service and meditation.
Where will they find knowledge, who will they serve when they don't understand so many things, who will they feel devotion for?
Since I am not qualified to answer those questions 'for them', only

for myself... I avoid them.

Even meditation is iffy ---I don't believe mantras, flames, guided visuals, youtubes, mindfulness are
suitable forms of concentration to The Goal. All end and are finite.
How do you cross a bridge into the Infinite using finite things?
You must, my opinion, focus on something that has always been there --and never ends ---
It's making your hair grow at this moment.
Fine tune the mind's attention onto ''That" !

BUT, talking this way would only cause conflict online - I have seen it.
There is not one Path to Rome, nor the Divine...so I say
'my' exp and then leave it.

I hardly ever talk about diets, fasting, being vegetarian - not using impure things like tobacco and stuff ---cuz --
some high people smoke and eat meat..who am I to say. *shrug*

But from my exp you are correct - and also, a clean diet, and pure thoughts.
Then, you get the fruit.

There's more than one way to skin a cat.

The more I think about it the more it's apparent those four aspects of practice span all spiritual traditions. Pick a tradition and pick one or more of its practices, whichever one(s) resonate with one's personality.

As an example and when I hit rock-bottom and began to pull myself back up I was unknowingly practicing meditation but in the form of prayer. Specifically the Serenity Prayer and a prayer to Saint Jude, patron Saint of hopeless causes. LOL!

I would silently repeat them over and over again for 10, 15, 30 minutes. Very calming, grounding and centering.

As you said, all roads lead to Rome.

One important point and I'd say it applies to all traditions and all practices is humility. Regardless what I believe about the tenets of a tradition and efficacy of its practices, in the end and if I'm being honest with myself I have to admit I have absolutely no clue about the real nature of Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth, only my personal experience.
