I've had some major acts of kindness come my way, As a young single mother
I use to take the bus to work, one of the people at my job bought me a car.
There was a neighbour lady that I would visit a few times a week, also I'd take her shopping and to Dr's appointments as she didn't seem to have anyone else.
When she died to my surprise she left me a substantial amount of money. I shared some of it. Each day I try to do an act of kindness.

God Bless You, Primrose. Something tells me you wage peace, also.

But yes i agree, i mentioned something similar in my space. Its the small gestures in life that inspire me most and up lift me in life, smile from a stranger, someone holding a door open for me, a nice conversation with a stranger etc....

Its horrible when you do something nice for somebody, and then just rush past you and don't even say thank you.

as that stereotype is true at times, sometimes it is not. today while approaching walmart, an attractive woman about my age saw me coming, so she held the door and waited for me to get there. i also got lots of smiles at the store and gave lots out too, some receptive and some not.

today i helped a woman at the gym with a machine and i directed a child who was lost to his mama.

let them keep on rushing mind power. all any of us can do is be who we are.

That women probably feels good about herself who held the door open for you, if i am annoyed "Because of no sleep" on some days i will try too do afew kind gestures. I am cynical of people most of the time though........

Yes its nice when strangers you don't know, smile and say hello.

Those small gestures are uplifting.

I was witness to a small act of kindness while waiting for a man to bring me my car at the emergency room. My kids, my mum and I were standing outside in the cold. An old man was behind me, I turned around and gave him smiling eyes. A woman with a child walked out. The woman had no coat on. The man asked her if she would like his coat. She was so surprised and said how sweet he is and then he joked around saying he would sell it to her. Then the conversation went on to personal health stories. But anyways, he offered his coat. I feel the kindness just thinking about it.

tonight or tomorrow i am starting to do a drawing for a fb friend. i posted something i read on my feed about random acts of kindness and if i shared it i had to do that for the others who shared off of my wall. so, it will be drawings for the 3 people who responded.
