You show great talent. Find what inspires you -- capture that on canvas. If you feel the need to "copy", to "recreate" what's already there; look to nature for inspiration.
Can you paint a waterfall that is "alive"? |

Thanks for the advice H, a waterfall, all I seem to be good at is portraits but yes I will look towards nature and see what happens.

It occurs to me: you could pose mannequins and paint that. Or, of course,
you could take photos and "extrapolate" from that...that way you'd be 'copying' your own work!

Yes i do take photo's of whoever I'm painting a portrait for, i have done many portraits but i don't show many on my threads as they are personal to most. But again some good ideas, thank you for your kind thoughts.
