That's really nice of you guys, thanks so much.
Like I say, I really have to put this stuff together in the way it was intended, which was going to have more of a spiritual angle. But I haven't figured it out yet and don't have the time atm.

Actually, whether intentional or not, I think you already did put a spiritual angle on it... I especially like the one Kaere reposted - with the rock cliff... and the sun shining beyond. It makes me wonder what's on the other side... some challenges to find out (rock climbing isn't easy!) ... but whatever is over there is brilliant and worth it!  |

Oh well I'm glad I conveyed something like that, but where I was going was to use the realistic skills to render something beyond the normal. I hope it will still come together!

It is white paper, and it's done with masking fluid -- don't know if you've ever tried using that.
Basically a liquid latex. You paint it onto the picture where you want it to remain white, and it dries forming a mask. When you're done with the darker areas you just peel off the dried fluid.

They're awesome drawings.
The cliff face looks cold and uninviting and you just wanna walk right over the top of it and onto the warm rock face...lol
