Infinite Peace Brothers and Sisters,

Is it better to Seek wisdom from Within or Without?

Why do you Feel this way?

Is there really any such thing as "better" or "worse" except from our own illusory perspective of separation and independence? Is God not both within and without? Are we not manifestations of God?

Perhaps the answer lies in seeking remembrance of that detached state of Universal Oneness--of removing our consciousness from the realm of duality--of reuniting with that state in which Within and Without are the same. "I Am That." The Buddha in me IS the Buddha in you . . . .

Far better, if you can, to acquire wisdom from a Master. Because wisdom learnt yourself usually comes the hard way i.e. through bitter experience!

But either way, it's gold.

Why can't we have both? :)

Once the wisdom dawns, you will find that there is no separation, no inside and no outside of the Self. There is oneness, no boundaries, no division. Until this happens, I'd suggest keep all doors to wisdom open.

Seek wisdom from within and from without and try as best you can NOT to judge things as better or worse, that dichotomy is at the source of our suffering. if we just excepting things, people, or experiences as they are without judging them or categorizing them. the world world be much more harmonious.

Wisdom comes from the union of both, it is not a collection of know how's or understandings, but a living relationship; a dance to better express yourself and so to allow that of whom you dance with--

Wisdom is to understand your relationship to the whole, and in that state be dancing with it on every level--

When you reach unity consciousness you receive wisdom all the time from within but things that you observe or hear also act as triggers to bring more wisdom. Someone may say something wise but when you ponder it and accept it, that will give you wisdom. The wise saying by itself doesn't bring you wisdom; it is a mere catalyst. So I would have to say that all wisdom comes from within.
