Why Was I Channeling Her??

Hello all.
Just wanted to share an experience I had a couple of years ago that I remember well.
I was meeting with my doctor one day when I started speaking in a voice that wasn't my own. The doctor had started asking me questions and this woman's voice broke through me as I answered them. I recognized the voice immediately and knew it wasn't my imagination. I even spoke with her accent. I was answering the questions in relation to what they were about...I wasn't "receiving a message" from the woman. I was just speaking in her voice.

When her voice started, immediately I thought to myself, "I'm channeling Rachel." I had just met this woman either that week or the prior week.

Any feedback on what I was experiencing, or why I was experiencing this? This was the first time I had ever spoken in a voice that "wasn't my own". I had a similar experience one other time when I spoke and my ex boss' voice came out when I said his name. These aren't the only metaphysical experiences I've had (I had many that year), but the only ones that relate to channeling.(Well, channeling experiences that had me speaking in a voice that wasn't my own.) May I ask if the doctor noticed the voice you were using was not yours?

Of course you can. I started to mention it in my original post. From what I remember, my doctor didn't seem phased about it, so it was as if he didn't seem to notice. I suppose the woman and I have similar tones, but it was definitely her voice I was using.

Then I would say that Rachel wished to speak for you. Why you were experiencing this may be related to what Rachel said to the doctor.

Now if you really want to know for sure, ask Rachel.
