Gold Dust Phenomenon

Okay, so I know in Christianity gold dust symbolizes God's manifestation; in fact, I've experienced this gold dust phenomenon several times at a church my mom took me to when I was little. However, church can not be the only place this phenomenon takes place. What about mosques, temples (ext.)? Do other religions discuss this phenomenon?

I think this gold dust thing is simply alchemy, no, Christianity was probably the last to know about this metaphor, it is known in just about every religion. All it means is the lower self, is transformed into the higher SELF, like simple metals being transformed into gold.

I haven't heard of other religions having gold dust, flakes, or teeth other than Christianity.

Interestingly, in the U.S. we're supposed to have streets paved with gold, or so the masses were ill-informed.

I've seen it happen, but may have been misguided in my understanding. I saw it as a superficial manifestation at the time. It's been years though, I didn't even know it still existed. It seems like a phenomenon related to the celebration of of the idea of wealth, which I'm not opposed to.

..The lower self can not be fully transformed into the 'higher self' as the higher self does not maintain a physical body because it is obsolete to do so. The 'lower self' can go through a sort of divination to become a light body, which would help to bring it closer to the higher self, although that is still not a transformation into the higher self, it is only extending your consciousness toward it. The higher self can only be truly and fully reached once death occurs.

Yes I agree, in all truth there isn't really a higher or lower self, there is just the SELF.

This energy is something of which I don't know the name. I only know how it is linked to becoming a 'light being.' However the light body meditation on wingmakers talks about this 'dust' in the form of a wave-like fluid-type substance. This could suggest a higher concentration or just more energy as a whole.
