Death Is Not Final

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0YtL5eiBYw

Description

"If consciousness is just the workings of neurons and synapses, how do we explain the phenomenon of near-death experience? By some accounts, about 3% of the U.S. population has had one: an out-of-body experience often characterized by remarkable visions and feelings of peace and joy, all while the physical body is close to death. To skeptics, there are more plausible, natural explanations, like oxygen deprivation. Is the prospect of an existence after death "real" and provable by science, or a construct of wishful thinking about our own mortality?"

Science Supports the Reality of the Soul

"True open-minded skepticism is our greatest ally in trying to better understand the mind-brain connection as it is revealed through the extraordinary lens of near-death experiences (NDEs).

True skeptics will thus greatly appreciate the rich presentation of NDEs in a new landmark book, The Self Does Not Die, originally published in the Netherlands in 2013 and recently expanded into an English edition. The authors, Titus Rivas, Anna Dirven and Rudolf H. Smit, have gone to great lengths to objectively analyze over 100 cases of veridical perception during NDEs, when the brain (according to the accepted principles of modern neuroscience) was in no condition to support such conscious experiences. The quality of empirical data and the objective assessment and refutation of possible materialist interpretations make this book a refreshing, and very worthwhile, read.

In short, this book goes a long way towards eliminating once and for all the feeble counterclaims of the materialist position which tries to deny, ignore and generally dismiss some of these truly remarkable NDE accounts."

I died as a mineral and became a plant;
I died as a plant and rose to animal;
I died as animal and I was a man.
Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?
Yet once more I shall die as man to soar
With angels blest. But even from an angel
I must pass on: all except God must perish.
When I have sacrificed my angel soul,
I shall become what no mind ever conceived.

Is Consciousness More than the Brain? | Interview with Dr. Gary Schwartz

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-6hosFAObI

"Although the overwhelming consensus among neuroscientists today is that the brain alone creates conscious experience, for decades acclaimed scientists around the world have conducted research that provides a very different picture. One of the most remarkable of these researchers is Dr. Gary Schwartz, professor of psychology, medicine, neurology, psychiatry and surgery at the University of Arizona and director of its Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health.

Dr. Schwartz’s extensive work with mediums supports the conclusion that our brains are not the “creators” of consciousness, but instead are “antenna-receivers”—and further, that consciousness DOES survive physical death: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-6hosFAObI (Dr.Schwartz’s website: http://www.drgaryschwartz.com/ )"

The spiritual books that really did it for me are those of Jozef Rulof. He was a medium who lived from 1898 to 1952 in the Netherlands.
The Masters of Light have written a series of books through him. I haven't read them all. Way too much for me.

His first book is A View into the Hereafter. You can download it for free.

All his introductory books can be downloaded for free
His books are also available in other languages. Dutch is the original.
At present they are working hard on the spanish translations.

Another book that I really appreciate is The Masters of the Far East by BT Spalding.

Have fun.
