Trumpet of God?
so, I decided to do a bit of writing today and when i got done with this part here:
"Allow me to explain, in subatomic particle terms, there are bosons. The Hebrew word for “glory” is Kabod; it basically means weight. In science it would be the mass of an object of matter. It takes the awareness of an individual to charge bosons in order for god’s glory to be shown. For God, it is who He is, His character and power. From one particle of light to another and to the macro of a gravity wave that dances with them to the music of God."
I noticed a loud sound from outside the house. I opened the door and heard it even louder. I grabbed my camera to see if i could capture the sound on it. i did, but not well. you have to really listen to hear it, but it is there. it lasted for about an hour. that rules out a train, unless it had its breaks on. but then again...for an hour or so?
any guesses? i am skeptical about it being the trumpet of god.

Hmm interesting. I heard the sounds. Not sure what that could be. I would have followed the noise.. Oh nice to hear your voice.
My grandparents lived out in the deep country, we use to hear all sorts of spooky things at night. I would be laying frozen still cold in the middle of the night, lol awful.

ya know, it never even occurred to me to follow the sounds. it was freezing outside and all i thought to do was go back inside. the area from which it seemed the loudest is nothing but a short road that is a dead end and hundreds of acres of forest.
i was like that as a kid too. i had to have blanket covering me to protect me from the monsters. cause ya know if your foot was out, the monster was sure to get ya. haha, yea scary times.
my husband has lived on this road for 44 years. he never heard this sound before.

@Gracey, how intrigueing! I asked Mr Google about it and found out NASA thinks it's the Earth's 'natural, eerie-sounding radio emissions'... What do you think? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/tr...planation.html

The Agency said: ‘If humans had radio antennas instead of ears, we would hear a remarkable symphony of strange noises coming from our own planet. Scientists call them "tweeks," "whistlers" and "sferics."
That could be it! Thanks Sparkles for the link.

Gracey that does sound somewhat similar to what I heard, the tone of it. The differences being sound i heard was much louder, metallic-y soundy and it varied in octaves, it would shift up and it was layered, overlapping, and quite louder, more abrasive.
This sound of yours is also more constant, consistent. Sounds i heard would stop, go for a stretch, pause again, come back louder.
This is cool though, they sounded more alike than what i thought it would from your description. Good on you for having the presence of mine to record some of it.
-edit- here are the sounds i heard, although from a different area of the city than was captured by the lady here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHi6LjKuNl4

yea, that is more broken up and different pitches. mine was a constant. it was actually very loud when i heard it, i heard it from inside my house and it didn't seem to be localized. later, the sound quited a bit and it seemed to come from the north. there is nothing over there but hundreds of acres of woods. we do have a railroad in a few towns over, but never in all the years i have lived here have ever heard of ever seen a train pull something on the railroad for an hour. so, i dunno...it was a neat experience none the less and got me to re-read the left behind series. :)

I listened to this a couple times... All I could hear was a female, with a very southern drawl, and quite excited.

It was faint in Gracey's, I could hear it though. What about the link I posted innerlight? Surely the sound, whatever it is, is audible in that one.
Gracey, that's weird the sound seemed omnidirectional at first, then came from the north later outside. Also interesting that their is nothing but forest from that direction also.
I have a smart phone handy now in the general vicinity in case the sounds come back.
