I believe that choosing our gender was a decision that we have chosen when we were in the administrative headquarters of reincarnation 
For me is the same if I'm a man or a woman the next life, both are beautiful and wonderful.
Both genders can provide amazing opportunities of learning. It's like always tasting vanilla ice cream, there are some times that you want to taste chocolate ice cream or whatever flavor you want.
It is as simple as that.

your physical body reflects your soul
so being a man and acting and thinking like a man will probably push you towards a reincarnation in a man's body
i have a 5 years old daoughter and since she was months only old, and before she learned what is a man and woman and what she is, she acted perfectly like a girl, and i dont think its female hormons, IMO its her souls personality
