Seeing space while meditating

I was meditating in bed before going to sleep and about about 45 minutes in my head was just enveloped in a starry space, could not see any planets just stars everywhere.
I have seen this before but that was awhile ago. I had trouble concentrating on it though because of my eyes flickering too much, once out of meditation i was just focusing on sleeping but decided to focus on the black infront of me and could see the starry space again because my intent was to see it but it was nowhere near as clear as before.

What was this? I dont believe it was AP as it was clear I was still in my body, although the night before I did experience an obe just didn't have astral vision.

I have space meditations sometimes, no stars though.

Do you see planets or anything? or just blackness?

well yes there is always blackness when eyes are closed....
It feels as if my consciousness is projecting elsewhere but my astral body has not.

I tend to be in a large empty space. It's very relaxing.

yeah I know the feeling, this space environment I was in whether a form of projection, remote viewing or what knows was extremely relaxing apart from the constant eye flickering but it was happy feeling

I have this same experience of space too, and I think it is just me! (my consciousness) That I have expansion while meditating, which I really noticed when I began and now it is just there.
I first noticed the space, before it expanded, and that is when I realized it was me. It was after a major loss in my life, and it left space that that which I had lost had previously occupied, in my consciousness.
I hope this makes sense! It is kind of hard to explain, but very real in a tactile, visual and every other way.

I see the stars too, in different colors even, and space that has weird dimensions (like it's twisting and moving?) and I also go racing through "tunnels". Seems to be portals to different places of this "space"? Have no idea what it is, but it's very fascinating! :)
