Christianity and Spirituality

I was interested in seeing what elements between spirituality and Christianity include, so I can work from a frame of reference that I’m familiar with, so compiled the following from my research. As I’m new at this, any helpful comments are welcome.
Faith: Both emphasize the importance of faith in a higher power or transcendent reality.
Prayer: Both spirituality and Christianity involve communication with the divine through prayer.
Moral Values: Shared values like love, compassion, forgiveness, and charity are integral to both.
Community: The sense of belonging to a community or fellowship is present in both spirituality and Christian congregations.
Seeking Meaning: Both involve a search for deeper meaning, purpose, and understanding in life. With Christians this is structured but in Spirituality it’s a more personal quest.
Transformation: Both encourage personal transformation and growth, often through a connection with the divine.
Rituals: While specific rituals may differ, both spirituality and Christianity incorporate rituals as expressions of faith.
Scriptures and Texts: Shared use of sacred texts or teachings that guide beliefs and practices.
Hope and Salvation: A shared focus on the hope for salvation or spiritual well-being.
Compassion: Emphasis on compassion towards others is a common thread in both.

Red face Spirituality is broader indeed

Your approach in these views is healthy and you have pointed out great similarities.

I support healthy views as such but I would love to add that practice of Christian precepts is in of itself spirituality. Spirituality can never be separate from religion but is the purpose of it.

Spirituality can be any form of connection to the divine and sometimes is not bound by the limitations of religious systems.

Religion is but a tricky guiding system full twists and turns that aims at revealing your spiritual path yet sometimes we get entangled in semiotics and find it hard to navigate through sheer intellectual understanding.

That's why you probably referred to this understanding as spirituality and I totally get where you're coming from. I might also add that human beings are spiritual by nature and don't need any traditions, but surely religions and other guiding systems may be able to help with getting to grips on understanding yourself and God.

It all comes down to seeing what works and doesn't negatively impact you.

Hope you have a lovely experience!
Love and Wisdom, always!

Peace!
