Me too. I remember while growing up in northcentral PA we had tons of t&l storms and rain. We kids would watch the grownups unplug the tv set when a storm would come around. I would get very excited and press my nose up against the window to get the best possible look at it when lightning would come out of the sky and the thunder was great. We would play out in the rain too. One time we were chasing each other around the yard and there was a fairly nice little downpour with thunder, me and another kid were running and as I ran by this metal clothesline pole in the back yard, a lightning struck the pole and I was right next to it and could see it out of the corner of my eye. Woo what a thrill!

My grandmother said when she was young, she witnessed a fireball or lightning ball of whatever come in through one window and roll out another! Yikes~*

I'll join the club I like thunderstorms too, where I grew up we used to have them a lot, whereas where I now live they are rare. I also like the rain.

I love vigorous thunderstorms. And snowstorms. I live in the national forest in northern Wisconsin. We have four fully-fledged seasons in the year. Some seasons seem longer than others. I just had my snow tires taken off two weeks ago. LOL

My parents told of being in bed one night that it was ready to storm when a fireball came down the chimney and rolled around burning things until it vanished. Then too, my mother and grandmother were out on the lake fishing on a completely clear day when a waterspout developed across the lake and lasted about a minute.

I couldn't agree more LadyVirgo, one of my favorite things, even more it is a time when my son and I really connect.

I love the rain too! Even when it drizzles! Dave, that's amazing but what's a waterspout?princess, it's nice that you and your son connect then. I can't connect with anyone because they are all so scared!

I am one of the few people I know that love thunderstorms, many people are scared of them. I especially love the summer storms, when the lights go out. I think they are beautiful and the rain is like a breath of fresh air.

Yes, we have had good storms here in central Texas in the last week. Very humbling. I love watching the lightning.

I love thunderstorms as well. They are powerful and beautiful. I love their energy. They get me excited and energize me. I don't live in the south but I'd love to see the southern ones, like in Florida. Heard they are quite intense!
