This thread reminds me of a silent movie. There is no sound nor indeed intonation (is that the right word?). All we have is black & white silent script.

In addition, there is no director, no producer and no editor. Just a bunch of actors ad-libbing. Ad-libbing without sound.

No wonder it's confusing.
