Seeking will keep me in dualty

Seeking love will keep me in fear.
Seeking to be good will keep me bad.
Seeking happiness will keep me in unhappy.
Seeking enlightenment will keep me deluded.
Seeking knowledge will keep me ignorant.
Seeking stillness will keep me moving.
Seeking formless will keep me in form.
Seeking satisfaction will keep me dissatisfied.
Seeking pleasure will keep me in pain.
Seeking morality will keep me immoral.
Seeking to be ethical will keep me unethical.
Seeking presence will keep me in future.
Seeking bliss will keep me miserable.
Seeking abundance will keep me begging.
Seeking power will drain me of my power.
Seeking hope will keep me worrying.
Seeking liberation will keep me bound.
Seeking joy will keep me in sorrow.
Seeking to understand will keep me in confusion.
Seeking to stop thinking will keep me thinking.
Seeking one polarity will create other polarity automatically.

There is nowhere to go I am already there. There is nothing to accomplish I am already complete. There is nothing to seek everything I seek is already there in me.

What about letting go stuff instead of seeking stuff.

EDIT:

I always wondered, what is duality?

Absolutely.....but unless this is your reality & not just a concept you may as well just go on seeking until seeking itself becomes redundant and you finally cast it off. Then the $40,000 question...what comes after seeking?

The whammy of a revelation that you didn't have to seek in the first place, and it hits home so much harder because you decided to seek until your cotton socks wore out.

Hi 3dnow

No seeking is a surrendered state of consciousness. When I am not seeking then I accept all that happens to me and around me. So I am surrendered to consciousness.

Hi Buzz

Obviously it is useful if it is reality for me. But if I start accepting what is then it leads to loving what is which leads further to surrendering to what is.

Yes Rsingh, seeking keeps you from finding...but one has to be aware that that too (as Buzz has pointed out) can become a trap of the mind. The Truth is a paradox.

Jesus said seek and you will find, Ask and you shall receive, Knock and it will be opened

Only he that seeks will find, only he that asks receives an answer, only he that knocks the door will be opened to.

When one understands the truth of both aspects...one is free from all aspects and one is One.
