What is the biggest I AM you can imagine?

This question sums up my issues that I have with the New Age teachings and spiritual practices like Self Realisation and Enlightenment. The thing is that I can always imagine a bigger I AM than what those teachings are talking about. Hinduism and Buddhism too. I can see something bigger.

That is why I do not think that Hindu/Buddhist I AM is equivalent to Christian/Jewish/Muslim I AM.

I believe that when Christ says "I AM sent me" He was not referring to Cosmic Consciousness.

How big is I AM? What does it include or exclude?

HONZA……..”….that is why I do not think that Hindu/Buddhism I AM is equivalent to Christian/Jewish/Muslim I AM”

Why should I AM only apply to some and not others?

You say you can see something bigger. What is the “bigger” that you can see and if it is bigger then why would I AM only apply to some. Surely the bigger it is that you see, would apply to everything/everyone.

My understanding is that I AM (God/Source/Absolute) applies to everything and everyone ie the whole cosmos and universe.

God/source/does NOT discriminate imo

Do Buddhists teach I AM? I was calling Buddhism I AM as a general term for their spiritual teachings and understanding.

Why do many of the discussions here turn into semantics. Cannot you guys understand what I am trying to express?

I AM applies to everything, but there are different definitions of I AM. The Abrahamic definitions seem larger
and broader in scope than the Eastern teachings.

My views on I Am ~ subject without object, without adjectives, attributes.

Ramana’s inquiry: Who am I?

The questioner disappears in thought rested silence, ego (identity) dies. All then that is, is awareness, self-aware, living light, renewing itself within itself, in time dissolved ineffable peace, feeling complete, in a singularity, one without a second, as Self.

That is what we are. In duality, the transcendent becomes immanent, crystallised in form.

The I Am or Self in singularity is what is made in God’s image. To embody this recognition in the waking state is the challenge, enabled by the falling away of whatever concept we cling to.

I sum up with this verse from the Ashtavakra Gita:

20.3
“Where is Knowledge and ignorance?
Where is “I”?
Where is “this”?
Where is “mine”?
Where is bondage and liberation?
Self has no attributes”

To explain that would take a lot of thought and writing. In summary the difference is evident from the teachings of each religion. The theology.
