The Omen
This is a great film. The sequels are good too; making a great trilogy about the coming of the Anti-Christ. They are chilling and well made films. Do you think they portray a 'realistic' situation of what would happen if Satan came to earth? I do!

Heck, I thought Satan, produced, directed and casted the movie, since it was his autobiography.

This is the only horror film that scares me :( god knows why just someone mentioning it gives me nightmares.

No, it's just catholic EDIT . Have you noticed how many hollywood movies contain catholic EDIT - the most disgusting and unrealistic was 'the exorcist'..

My own personal theory is that Christ is Satan anyway........he tricked us!
However I do believe that subject is not appreciated on this forum because its too contentious. :( They even removed a thread about the subject!

Real or not. Still too realistic and scarey much more so than the exorcist. And i belive in yin and yan.

Are you kidding??? l foolishly went to see it, and the cinema actually had paramedics who were treating people half way through. ln the news it said ppl were commiting suicide for many years after seeing it. The head exorcist for the catholic church says it's his his favourite film - if you've seen this priest's face, you might understand why. Then, the actress who took the part ended up in a mental hospital for therapy. lt was also banned from many cinemas, l believe. l believe all sorts of unpleasant things happened during the film of this sick cr*p..
Now, l've seen all 4 'Omen' films and compared to the exorcist (the one's after it were ok, though - with richard burton etc) there was nothing scary at all. The 4th omen film was interesting - the anti-christ was a girl. lol. |

Not kidding. Omen really scares me. Don't know why. For some reason. I see the exorcist as just another horror.
