New images while meditating

Hi There,

I have been practicing meditation for the past few months for an hour each day. I developed clarity of thought after the initial few sessions of meditation. A month later , 10 minutes into the meditation and a white dot appears. It disappears and then appears. It turns black with a white shadow and again turns white. This went on everyday. 3 weeks ago I had an energy healing session and I have noticed that I get into deep meditation very very quickly. Usually it takes me an hour to get into deep meditation but now it takes only 10 minutes and that too with noise around me. I also see indigo/purple color swirling all the time.The white dot has now multiplied and I see 3-4 white dots, they also come in tiny shapes like a line etc.then i feel a wave of silence wash over me and I find myself going deeper into silence.

I do various anapanasati and mantra meditation.

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

I'm so glad to read about your experience. Actually, I've joined this forum just yesterday and right now I was just googling white dot in meditation when I found your post. This is exactly what happens with me too, especially in deep meditations. I also see a white dot, sometimes 2-4 of them. They appear and disappear spontaneously. I don't know if you have experienced it or not, but out of those 3-4 white dots there is one which is very extra white/brilliant and usually of a smaller size. It comes and disappears rather quickly compared to others which stay longer and tend to disappear/dissipate very gradually. I was wondering if you have ever seen a comparatively bigger black dot also while in meditation?

Blue/Indiigo color is the color associated with pineal gland or third eye. It signifies the activation of third eye.
