Question

Hmmm - bit of a mixed message there e.g. it's OK to be gay .... just don't act on it!

Well, at least it's a start in tackling the ingrained/traditional prejudice on this.
I also like that he sets a good example in having a simpler car - great stuff!

(Curious - why is this in the meditation section?)

I don't know really, I feel at home on this section. It would get more of a response in the Christian thread thinking about it though.
The gay thing I,m ok with his comments, I get it.
The women thing Ill never understand especially as those that are awakened are asked to teach by spirit.

Even as I asked the question I received an answer several hours after the debate closed. I should have more patience.

Why is it that modern people feel this overwhelming need to tackle ingrained/traditional prejudice?
Such prejudice is there for a reason.
Imagine how many murders there would be if there was no traditional ingrained prejudice against it? Or how many pedophiles. Or how many rapists.

Prejudice is not necessarily bad.
Ingrained can be good.
Tradition is almost always superior to what someone dreamed up this morning, in the toilet.
