When burning sage in your home in order to cleanse it, should you keep the windows closed or open them? Does it make a difference at all?

its my feeling the smell is a reminder that opens up the cleaning
more in an other level than the smell in a traditional sens
so windows op should be fine :-)

Hi Gracey, how did your cleansing go? I'm planning to do my first one soon.

I'm looking for people's thoughts on what to buy, should it be actual sage sticks, or would insense sticks be ok?
There's a small shop in town that might have some sage inscense sticks, if not that I'll have to buy something online.

Ya know, I never did it. The reason I wanted to is because my son saw the ghost of his class mate that died last year. He told me right away and we prayed for her. I think the prayer helped.


I did do a sage cleansing long ago in a different home. You would have to use actually sage and not incense sticks.

I just ordered a sage, cedar and french lavender stick. When it gets here, I will be doing the cleansing.
