I haven't been posting my gratitude here lately simply because of internet availability issues, but I have been making sure to feel gratitude and thanks every day. So for a general gratitude moment today that covers the days I missed posting here, I'd like to express how thankful and grateful I am that I have been born into this human body and am lucky enough to have found a great master and another great teacher (whom I consider at master level but they'd probably disagree), as well as a group of great spiritual friends in this lifetime. I am amazed at their endless compassion, and I wish to also discover that supreme compassion within myself as well, so that one day I, too, may be of service to other beings in the same loving capacity.

Today I am thankful and grateful that I was able to step outside of my shyness and self consciousness and let loose. It was great fun to just be free and not get caught up in criticisms/judgements.
I am also thankful for becoming more familiar with certain mind training exercises and am grateful for being more aware of what needs to be worked on.

Today I'm so grateful for a day of rest!
This gratitude thread and holding a space of daily and hourly gratitude for many things has busted my life open into non-stop business and clients with them often spilling over into Saturday and Sunday and resting in no days off. It's 10:36am and I'm in my robe, unbrushed hair and teeth and a big cup of coffee in a silent house on a cloudy day just soaking up the solitude and quiet!!!

Today I'm thankful and grateful for all of the wonderful beings who have shared their time and energy with me on this retreat. It's been amazing. I'm sad to be leaving, but I'm thankful that I have a lot of new knowledge and ideas of what I need to work on to help me further my practice. That way the next time I meet up with them, maybe I will be ready for some new lessons to learn. I know that even though we will be physically separated, I'm grateful to know that the love shared is beyond time and space and always present and accessible.

Today, I am grateful to have discovered why "the path is the practice"....as fellow traveler Gogo Thule Ngane states in the article below:

I'm thankful and grateful that, even though I'm stuck in a situation I don't care to be in right now, at least I can see and feel the difference of what makes me thrive and helps me to feel connected to others and my practice more.
