Half completed wish...

Hey everyone, i wanted to share a story and ask a few things about it, this story is pretty shallow, so if you're looking for some heavy stuff, I'm sorry, you're reading the wrong post

Yesterday, my teacher announced in my class that we were going to have a group project, we were to choose a partner of our same sex and then the teacher would pair us with another group of the opposite sex. There is this girl that I really like in class and I started using the law of attraction to have our teacher put our groups together...IT WORKED! But... after my teacher chose our 2 groups together, she decided to switch my group with another pair thus ruining my wish.

Question:
I was thinking about the teacher putting our groups together during the teacher was choosing the pairs, but right after the teacher picked our groups together, I was overwhelmed with disbelief and happiness that I stopped manifesting and a couple seconds later, she paired my group with another. Could the stopping of my manifestation have ended it?

Ah, that happens to me soo often!! Half finished wishes are annoying
