What is your interest in starting the process? Are you someone who experiences environments other people seem to find comfortable, and you do not? Or is your interest strictly in terms of the yogic process per se?
One thing I can say is that, once it begins, it can be difficult to control. It's possible to feel uncomfortably warm/hot or to have it occur at times when it's less than convenient. For me it's been going on for six or seven years.
This is not all that unusual. I've responded to numerous questions on websites like this one from people who have been wanting to reduce the amount of time they spend being overheated by this tummo-type process.
The body heating that is spoken of in, say, traditional East-Indian or Tibetan yoga is involved with kundalini and the clearing of the nadis (energy channels) in the body, from head to foot.
Do you have a meditation teacher?

My reason is to become less of a thinker and more of a spirit person. Not to mention it feels good. And no, I do not have a teacher. Now if you would kindly give me advice, that would be great..

Tanemon is right. Find a teacher, if you don't know where do look ok.
AYP Free online system
Kriya yoga
Tibetan Buddhism
Most buddist systems work with it in advanced stages. They call it Tummo.
Good Luck
