Twisting words.
This is out of pure curiosity as I cam across an article about mental phenomena. It described Jamais Vu, it's basically failing to recognize something you should have recognized. I didn't know there was a name for it, but I've experienced and even done it on purpose. Have any of you repeated a word so much that it doesn't make sense anymore? Like to the point where you find it weird and wonder why it's even called that?

One time I wondered about something as trivial as chair, I just couldn't (and still can't) get why people would call it that. Everyone takes it for granted, but what if a chair wasn't called a chair? Would it still be a chair or not?
To me it kinda shows how limiting words really are, for every new thing there needs to be a name for it to not just be a thing. We all just take for granted that everyone else just understands what is meant by the words we use.
