Had to look it up. There will be a special 10 pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time on CNN tonight. I have it set to record. He was a maverick and never danced to anyone's tune but his own. Thanks Aaron.

We need to de-stigmatize mental health and the subject of suicide in order to prevent more tragedies from occurring. We need to talk more openly and candidly about this subject in a compassionate and openhearted fashion.

I've had family members come to me saying they have felt suicidal. My knee jerk reaction is to ask what's wrong and offer an alternative view, but something about that isn't enough. Maybe we need to educate ourselves what is important so we're better placed to help if the situation arises. Maybe we need to redefine help. Not necessarily to something different but as a reminder.
