Yes. You know why?
Because worship is not done in the woods, it's not done at a festival,
it is not done online.
It is always done in your heart.

My whole life changed talking here online with someone in Minnesota.
I was amazed at how an unknown person changed the direction of
my entire focus...a stranger, right....online....far away?

Your praises and devotion expressed can effect another so much.
(Not that that is your motive.)

My opinion.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I think the intention of on-line puja is to provide for people who are ill, live far away from temples, or are otherwise unable to attend a live puja.

Distant pujas where individuals sponsoring or purchasing the puja have been going on for a long time. For example, many people have an annual archana at some far off temple for their birthdays. Large temples in India have overseas sponsors for major pujas. So the idea of not being present has been there for a long time. Obviously, those people trust that it works.

However, regarding on-line pujas, I would be a bit more cautious, simply because of the degree of scamming that goes on. I'd want to have it done by a temple, or individual I really trusted.

Namastey,

Thankyou Miss Hepburn and Vinayaka. Now Somehwere I can make my decision. Trust factor is important. If there is no belief in my heart for God then there is no use of a puja also. :)
