Which songs resonate with you the most?

I've been thinking about this today and the one that resonates best with me at the moment is "Keep Holding On" by Avril Lavigne because that's exactly what I'm trying to do at the moment

For a long time there was an old ELO song called 'One Summer Dream' that I felt resonated very closely with me.

Two songs were written with me specifically in mind, or so it feels.

When he Shines by Sheena Easton ( I don't shine that often these days alas)

And Kate Bush with The man with the child in his eyes.

Both songs describe my inconsistency quiet well, though it has to be said that what might be seen or described as inconsistency is to me both mercurial and enigmatic.

Mercurial and Enigmatic sounds better than inconsistent to my neurosis

That's okay, I've never been hobbled by consistency either.

Back when I was depressed and negative, I used to think of being hanged, hating people and such. Thankfully I don't think that way anymore, my dark ages are behind me.

This would have been a song that would resonate with my anger and negativity. It's by an Aussie band called Silverchair, the song is Israel's Son.

One song that truely speaks to me is : Bittersweet symphany by The Verve.

Absolutely love it, and it's true, bittersweet symphany that's life, you're a slave to the money then you die!
