You don't hate children who have massive ego's because it's normal and learning how to control it is part of learning.

The problem with your certain President is that his ego controls him rather than Him controlling His ego

I think children's innocence, openness and trusting natures far outweigh the self centred, self serving and self focused side in most cases.

A recently film recommendation on SF called Nell. Must remember to watch it. It's about an isolated woman that still has the innocence of a child. Watching an adult like that might bring it home better maybe. Looks like there's a book too.

Yes I agree these qualities do outweigh their egos... People seem to think it's wrong to have an ego and to enter the Kingdom of Heaven you need to get rid of it but that doesn't make sense to me. There's nothing wrong with the ego it's how you use it that's the problem.
But as always, to each their own...

Yes I agree we all have an ego. And if it's not recognised it can run amuck . I think if it's subdued enough though the innocence, openness and trusting can flow through. Children are better at it That's why they're so loveable.

Sky123,

What good does the ego do you when you are in the Kingdom of Heaven ? Does it allow you to believe that you are better than others ? On this earth the ego is necessary for survival....I do not see that as a heavenly concern. Maybe you could share your thoughts on the necessity of the ego in heaven.

Ego....it is like wearing clothes on a nudist beach. Someone will ask...”What are you hiding ?”
