Lots of great thoughts of reaching God. I take this one as "being still and listening"

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

I'm, going to tell you something that influenced me a great deal - I hope it does you, too.
"A neat and clean house will not get you to Heaven."
I may possibly have made that up from my own head a few years ago.
None-the-less, it has greatly influenced me.
Ahh, the freedom.
(Also, just keep the living room and bathroom clean
for guests ---that's not so hard just 2 rooms!!!)
Keep the doors closed in all other rooms - kitchen is just ....whatever..

My favourite saying "let go/let God".
Man! I Wish I had someone to tell all my little "let go/let God" stories to. I love to hear of other peoples. Everytime I hear one, I get the goosebumps...

What if you let go of every bit of control and every urge that you have,
right down to the most infinitesimal urge to control anything, anywhere,
including anything that may be happening with you at this moment?
Imagine that you were able to completely and absolutely give up control
on every level. If you were able to give up control absolutely, totally,
and completely, then you would be a spiritually free being.
