Is Astral Travel the cause of my Fatigue???

Hi, I am a beginner in my spiritual development. I find it difficult to meditate, because I cannot shut off my conscious mind, and feel and unwanted apprehension to let go, which I am trying to deal with. However, most of my encounters with spirit, happen when I am asleep, I remember flying down the staircase as a child in my dreams, which was beautiful and I identify now as and outer body experience. Recently I have had unusual dreams, which is not uncommon but differ. For a few years now I have suffered bad fatigue, being very tired all of the time, despite sleeping an ample amount. I have ungone soooo many tests with the doctor the hospital to get to the bottom of this but was turned away with a 'we dont know why'. I heard from a friend that after astral travel, she feels exhausted. Could this be the case? Am I being used by spirit astrally unknowingly ? Is this possible?
