Energy Raising Class?

I wanted to find a class on raising and directing energy for ritual use so I could surprise a family member for her birthday. We already know Reiki, but she was mentioning that she wanted to know better how to apply that to doing magick. I've searched online for seminars/workshops in the Midwest, but havent found anything. Any ideas?

There really is no such thing as "magic", it is the manipulation and control of natural Earth energies. I would be very dubious of any workshops or seminars since this is an area which requires a great deal of time to acquire.

I must agree and disagree with Norse on this one. What you are talking about searching for I agree with him- a way to manipulate and control natural energies. However Magic does exist in many different forms ;3

I too would be wary. Rather than look for a class, its something you should journey for on your own, or with like-minded friends and family, people who are close to you. Meditation is the best way to learn!

Thanks, I just thought she would enjoy something like that... maybe I should look into a chi gung class... or a different type of healing class instead. I just wanted to do something for her that wouldn't be the same as every other year. :)
