Underground landlord dream

Can anyone help give me a insight into this dream please?
I was in a London underground station. I was stood on one platform talking to a middle aged man - he used to own the house next door to my current and childhood home. He was the landlord and over the years he rented it out to various tenets. This was during my adolescent years and into my early-mid twenties.
I told him I had to catch my train from a different platform. I think I missed my train or it was the wrong one, so I went back to the original platform and met the landlord again. By this time his train had come and he had to board.

i think it means that he is going places or has gone somewhere in life while you are still stuck in the same place for now. Maybe it is saying that he handled money or the earth under his feet very well & it enabled him to go places when you cannot

i'd neglected to reference the "underground" element of your dream
TonySG. that could relate to some 'below the surface' desires
you would've liked to explore, at some point. it may be that that
train wasn't available to you earlier in life (it was the wrong one),
but it's available now (hence the dream alerting you to it).

This could be a dream about convergence, as in a train of thought that doubles back on itself.
